Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification:

  • Level-2 (Group C): 12th (+2 stage) with 50% aggregate marks OR 10th pass plus ITI/NAC from NCVT.
  • Level-1 (Group D): 10th pass, ITI, or National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by NCVT.

Scouting/Guiding Qualification (Mandatory):

  • Must be a President Scout/Guide/Rover/Ranger or hold a Himalayan Wood Badge (HWB).
  • Must be an active member for the last 5 years with a ‘Certificate of Activeness’.
  • Must have attended two National/All India Railway level events and two State level events.

Age Limit & Relaxation

Age is calculated as of 01.01.2027.

  • Level-2 (Group C): 18 to 30 years.
  • Level-1 (Group D): 18 to 33 years.
  • Relaxations: OBC (3 years), SC/ST (5 years). Additional relaxations apply for PwBD, Ex-servicemen, and serving Railway employees as per government norms.
