Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must possess an M.E./M.Tech. in Metallurgy, Metallurgical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, Applied Mechanics, Aerospace Engineering, Ceramics Engineering, or allied disciplines. Alternatively, candidates with an M.Sc. in Physics, Chemistry, Materials Science, or Mathematics from a recognized university with at least 60% marks (or 6.5 CGPA) are eligible. SC/ST/PwD candidates require a minimum of 55% marks or 6.0 CGPA. A valid GATE or NET qualification is mandatory for all applicants.

Age Limit & Relaxation

The maximum age limit for applicants is 30 years. A relaxation of 5 years is applicable for SC, ST, OBC, Women, and physically handicapped candidates as per government norms.
