Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must possess the following educational qualifications from a recognized university or equivalent institution:

  • M.Sc. in Chemistry, Materials Science, or Physics.
  • B.E. / B.Tech in Material Science, Metallurgical & Materials Engineering, Ceramic Engineering, or Chemical Engineering.

Age Limit & Relaxation

The maximum age limit for applicants is 35 years. Age relaxation is provided as per government norms:

  • SC/ST/Physically Handicapped and Female candidates: 5 years.
  • OBC (Non-Creamy layer) candidates: 3 years.

Salary & Pay Scale

  • Rs. 31,000/- + HRA: For candidates selected through National Eligibility Tests (CSIR-UGC NET/GATE) or national-level examinations conducted by Central Government departments.
