Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must possess an MBBS degree along with a Post Graduate Degree or Diploma in the respective specialty. The qualification must be recognized by the Medical Council of India (MCI). Additionally, applicants must hold a valid Registration Certificate issued by any State Medical Council or the Medical Council of India.

Age Limit & Relaxation

The entry-level age for candidates must not exceed 60 years as of 31 July 2026. For retired Railway or Government doctors, the maximum age limit is 67 years or 07 terms of engagement, whichever is earlier.

Salary & Pay Scale

Selected candidates for the Specialist position will receive a monthly remuneration of Rs.1,23,500/-. For retired Railway or Government doctors, the total remuneration plus pension shall not exceed the last pay drawn at the time of retirement.
