CSU is recruiting for 90 positions divided into two categories:
Part A: Associate Professor (Level-13A) – 23 Vacancies Includes subjects like Sahitya, Vyakarana, Jyotisha, Veda Bhashyam, Mimamsa, Bauddha Darshan, Vedanta, Nyaya, Shiksha Shastra, Computer Science, Yogic Sciences, and Ayurveda.
Part B: Assistant Professor & Other Academic Posts (Level-10) – 67 Vacancies Includes subjects like Sahitya, Hindi, English, Vyakarana, Jyotisha, Veda, Dharma Shastra, Bauddha Darshan, Vedanta, Nyaya, Shiksha Shastra, Computer Science, Yogic Sciences, Assistant Director (Physical Education), and Assistant Librarian.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must possess the required educational qualifications (Ph.D., NET, or Master’s degree) as per the norms of the UGC, NCTE, NCISM, and the Statutes/Ordinances of CSU. All qualifications, research experience, and publications must be completed by the last date of application, 10 July 2026.

Salary & Pay Scale
Selected candidates will be placed in the Pay Level-10 or Level-13A as per the 7th Central Pay Commission recommendations, depending on the post applied for.
Selection Process
- Assistant Professor (Level-10): Shortlisting followed by a Written Test (OMR/Descriptive). The written test may be waived if the number of eligible candidates is less than 20.
- Associate Professor (Level-13A): Shortlisting based on academic credentials, followed by a Video Presentation, Research Skill assessment, and PPT presentation.
- Final Stage: Document verification and a face-to-face interview for all shortlisted candidates.
